HR Advisor

Summary
Reporting to Senior Manager (HR Business Partnering), the HR advisor is responsible for acting as a change agent to assist the HRBPs in managing and implementing people & culture strategies across the organization through projects. 
In addition, the incumbent will participate in cross functional People projects to enhance the employee experience and partner with business for identified departments / units to provide effective HR support.

 

Responsibilities: 
Business Partnership

  • Partner with the business to provide operational HR services to a defined client group. 
  • First point of contact for all staff queries for identified units 
  • Identify human resource issues and work with the business to provide solutions
  • Manage end to end lifecycle of assigned units and staff members 
  • Act as the backup for HRBPs

 

Reporting and monitoring

  • Assist the Manager- BP in preparing monthly and periodic reports on workforce planning 
  • Maintain regular metrics reporting for Singapore staff across all entities
  • Assist HRBPs in extracting reports from the HRIS to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of their Business units 
  • Benchmark HR statistics against external and best-practice organisations

 

HR Policies & SOP’s 

  • Review and update relevant HR policies and assist HR Ops in maintaining the MyHUB portal
  • Implement changes across the business through change in contracts, letter, policies and communication 
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all activities of the HR Business partnering team

 

Process Improvement

  • In close conjunction with HRBP’s & Talent Management, draft & revive the employee experience through process improvement e.g. onboarding, cessation
  • Analyse existing process & integrating through a common platform to create a positive experience using available tools and technology 
  • Communication & awareness plan for all staff for launch when changes are implemented

 

Employee Engagement 

  • Assist in executing staff engagement activities based on the annual / monthly engagement calendar along with and in conjunction with HRBP’s and HR COE’s 

 

Special projects and other duties

  • Assist in the research, design, and implementation of a range of HR projects as directed by Manager HRBP

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, OD or equivalent 
  • At least 2-3  years experience in HR in generalist/legal/compliance/ L&D roles ( a huge plus if you have a good understanding of relevant Singapore Employment legislation and Project Management/PMO Experience)
  • A high level of computer literacy, in particular Microsoft Office (including advanced level skills in Excel and Outlook).
  • Proven experience or interest in managing change 
  • Proven ability in managing multiple projects concurrently
  • High level of inter-personal skills, proven experience dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work schedules so that required deadlines are met
  • Self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision.
