YOUR ROLE

 

Would you like to oversee the IT project portfolio, managing both business and IT stakeholders within a global scope ?

If so, we have the opportunity to work as our CIO Office (and IT Governance) for the division Air and Ocean at CEVA Logistics.

 

Important: The role can be based in Europe (Spain, France, Italy).

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

 

  • Project Portfolio Management:

           Ensure the alignment with strategic goals, resource optimization, and delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Governance and Compliance:

           Establish and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and processes aligned with CIO Office.

  • Resource Management:

           Coordinate resource allocation across projects, balancing priorities, and skill requirements. Identify and address resource constraints proactively.

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

           Develop and maintain project dashboards, metrics, and performance indicators. Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues.

  • Risk Management:

           Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop risk management strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful delivery.

  • Change Management:

           Facilitate change management processes, including impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, and communication planning. 

  • Quality Assurance:

           Establish quality standards and processes for project deliverables.

  • Vendor Management:

           Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and resolve disputes or issues 

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

           Cultivate strong relationships with project stakeholders, including business sponsors, end-users, and cross-functional teams.

           Collaborate  effectively to gather requirements, define project scope, and prioritize deliverables.

  • Continuous Improvement:

           Drive process improvements and innovation within the IT PMO.

           Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and  optimize project outcomes.

 

 

.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • You have extensive experience (5+ years) in IT project management, with a focus on portfolio management, governance, and compliance.
  • You have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale IT projects from initiation to closure, delivering on time and within budget.
  • You have strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • You are excellent in communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • You have a strong business acumen and ability to understand and drive business objectives.
  • You have proficiency in project management and ITSM tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Service Now, etc .
  • Having a project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus
  • You have knowledge of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and having experience with agile project management tools is a plus
