Marketing & Communication Executive

About the Role: 

Reporting to the Head of Communications & Sustainability, this role is an opportunity to flex your marketing & communication skills across shipping as well as more than 40 associated products from insurance and networking to smart containers and carbon neutral shipping bundles. 


In this role you will be looking after brand development programs and external market engagement while supporting sales success from a communications standpoint through the operational delivery of campaigns from Australia to Singapore and beyond!  Internally this role will deliver and foster development of internal communications for the business throughout Oceania.  
The role will involve participating in a sustainability committee for Oceania and expanding the existing CSR program across the region. 


The role and responsibilities will include:


  • Maintenance of brand assets including Corporate PowerPoint, Website (via sharepoint CMS), product collateral, employer brand and importantly central brand metrics
  • Engage with external market through Social Media (Linkedin & WeChat) posting, reporting & measurement, content development (social and press), event planning & coordination (corporate hospitality & trade), digital Marketing (including email and some online inventory), creation of editorial where required by the business
  • Liaise with agencies for events and design while maintaining quality of output 
  • Facilitation of print, digital and in person campaigns and programs. This work may include Basic design (Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop & illustrator)
  • Coordinate  internal newsletter & engagement on internal platforms


To be successful for this role, you will need:


  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications or Journalism or Public Relations
  • Experience in client-side generalist marketing, communications or PR role
  • Experience with Adobe creative suite, HTML or CSS qualifications or experience would be highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills; proven experience dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to the change of working conditions and demands with a strong work ethic
