Trade Manager, IFF Desk

Summary

Successful candidate will be reporting to Trade Director Asia, to be responsible for account development and implement trade strategy to achieve business growth and relationship with Key Accounts. He / She will ensure that Brand and Line Management strategies are in line with Key Accounts’ development to achieve set budget and engage with Key Accounts to improve customer experience with the brand

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with Key Accounts of the ANL brand.
  • Identify, manage and drive growth with Key Accounts for the Oceania trade under ANL brand.
  • Capitalize on existing KPI reports to identify areas of improvement and communicate the same to Key Accounts.
  • Maintain a good understanding of industry trends through proactive communication with Key Accounts
  • Negotiate NAC requests from Key Accounts and close deals within guidelines of Trade Management.
  • Manage expectations of Key Accounts for escalation issues.
  • Devise solutions/alternatives for operational issues.

 

Requirements

  • Degree or above, in maritime or international trade related discipline is preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience working in Maritime or related Industries
  • Inter-personal skills with customer-focus, is paramount to build good rapport and trust rapidly with both partners and customers.
  • Good team spirit with good communication skills (verbal/written) would be paramount for internal stakeholder management.
  • Results-oriented, analytical, good attention to detail.
  • Previous sales or project management experience is an advantage
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin is preferred (to liaise with client from mainland china)
