YOUR ROLE
You will develop and maintain the global management system framework, providing a consistent set of high-level standards that drive continuous improvement and accountability for delivery of compliance across all Regions and Countries.
You will also be responsible to develop and maintain tools and processes to ensure consistent cascade of HSE objectives, targets and performance measurement with a targeted approach to improvement.
Other tasks will include developing training content that supports the global standards framework, improving capability and accountability across all Regions & Countries as well as developing and supporting internal audit processes to ensure focus on compliance and objective reporting to top management on compliance and action to improve.
Ensure the organisation maintains external ISO Certification and other applicable accreditations associated with HSE.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Develop and maintain good professional cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders so as to provide competent support and guidance

- Develop high level global management standards that support local application and flexibility to incorporate Country level legal requirements into local procedures.
- Develop and maintain process for capturing and verifying HSE performance data required for Global KPI reporting
- Develop and promote a comprehensive HSE Capability improvement programme, including a range of internal Management workshops, eLearning programmes and the coordination of external providers where required.
- Liaise with the Global Quality team in the facilitation of external audits and ongoing ISO 45001 certification
- Liaise with Head Office Support functions and product operation teams in key projects or initiatives requiring HSE input
- Deputise for the Head of HSE as and when required
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Recognised Degree level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety
Membership with a Recognised H&S Professional Body - Proven record in delivering performance improvements Project Management experience
- Experience with coordinating a training programme
- Experience delivering change management through strong stakeholder relationships
- Operational Management experience
- Comprehensive working knowledge of ISO45001 management processes, principles and methodologies
- Working knowledge of dangerous goods safety requirements relevant to logistics operations, including governance, risk assessment, operational controls and incident escalation.
- Working knowledge of lithium-ion battery hazards and controls across storage, handling, charging and transport interfaces, including thermal runaway prevention, emergency preparedness and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of serious incident management, root cause analysis, lessons learned and the development and cascade of global safety alerts.
- Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, hierarchy of controls and global minimum health and safety
