Pay Range:  $15.00 - $18.00

 

SUMMARY

Warehouse Agent handles incoming shipments, picks, sorts, packs, prepare orders and ship products. The Warehouse Agent manages the data entry (with RF scanners or computer) to ensure accurate transaction records and inventory management. Warehouse Agent is also responsible in helping to keep the warehouse space neat and orderly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A warehouse Agent can perform one or more of the below tasks

Receiving:

  • Unload truck, verify delivery versus Bill of Lading, report any damage or discrepancy.
  • Check quality and quantity of products
  • Receive products in WMS accurately and put-away products in proper location

Picking:

  • Pick orders as per pick tickets and process them by locating the product in the warehouse, pick products from correct location, scan the products and place them in the correct picking tote or cart.

Packing:

  • Verify order details, inspect products to be packed to ensure that there is no damage, missing or wrong item
  • Properly pack orders as per specific packing instructions, ensure no damage to products occur

Releasing:

  • Palletize orders as per orders and shipping details ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Prepare shipping documentation
  • Load truck

Inventory control:

  • Count products as per cycle count plan or checking request, verify no misplaced or damaged products in the location.
  • Report inventory discrepancy to Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Perform quality inspection upon request.
  • Accountable for accurately performing warehouse activity as per directed by management with quality and productivity targets.
  • Assist in other areas as needed and instructed by superiors
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including company safety and Hygiene regulations.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and knowledge of calculator use Report to Team Leader or Supervisor in case of issues
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • This position does not supervise any direct reports

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

This position requires a minimum of a High School diploma and 1 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. 

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and interpret standard operating procedures and customer requirements in English.
