MISSION:
The IT Program Senior Manager is responsible for owning the operational cadence of the IT Transformation Program: consolidated planning, milestone tracking, risk anticipation, cross-lever dependency management, and executive reporting. Ensure the program delivers on time, on budget, and with auditable savings — and that the TMO itself operates as a high-performing, institutionally durable structure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Execution & Cadence

  • Own and maintain the consolidated program plan across all levers — milestones, dependencies, critical path, and delivery sequencing.
  • Run weekly execution reviews with stream leads; surface blockers before they impact milestones.
  • Track savings delivery: realized vs. target, by lever and by period; flag variance early and with enough lead time to acty.
  • Manage the program risk register: identify, assess, escalate, and drive resolution — no surprise escalations.
  • Monitor cross-lever dependencies and inter-program interfaces (business programs with IT components).

Governance & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly steering committee materials: progress, risks, decisions required.
  • Produce weekly reporting to the Director of IT Transformation and, where relevant, to the CIO.
  • Maintain data consistency between tracking tools and executive presentations.
  • Keep a live decision log; follow up on all commitments made in governance instances.
  • Integrate Change Management stream milestones and risks into the program plan in coordination with the external CM partner.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate contributions from IT stream leads, consulting partners, and group functions (cyber, infra, legal, HR, finance).
  • Manage interdependencies between the transformation program and strategic business programs with IT components.
  • Facilitate resolution of cross-lever or cross-team friction points.
  • Represent the TMO in group-level program coordination where relevant.
  • Interface with the AI & Agentic Stream Lead on execution cadence for the GenAI lever — while respecting the Stream Lead's autonomy on content.

Structural Deliverables

  • Contribute to building the application rationalization repository, supplier governance framework, and P&L savings tracking model.
  • Document TMO methods, processes, and templates to ensure institutional continuity beyond the program.
  • Produce the CM Playbook and permanent governance assets in coordination with the external Change Management partner.

PROFILE:

Education

  • Master's degree: engineering, business, or equivalent.
  • PMP, Prince2, or MSP certification strongly preferred.

Experience

  •  8 - 10 years in complex IT program management within large organizations or top-tier consulting firms.
  • Track record delivering programs with significant P&L impact.
  • Experience operating in multi-stakeholder environments with resistant or politically complex dynamics.
  • Exposure to IT rationalization, sourcing, or large-scale infrastructure programs — a strong asset.
  • Prior experience in a TMO, PMO, or program office function — preferred.

Technical Skills

  •  Advanced command of planning tools: MS Project, Jira, or equivalent.
  • Expert-level Excel and PowerPoint for executive reporting.
  • Ability to read, challenge, and present financial data (P&L, savings waterfall, budget vs. actuals).
  • Functional understanding of IT systems, sourcing models, and IT operating models.
  • Familiarity with change management integration in a program context — not a CM specialist, but able to work fluently with one.

Behavioral Competencies

  • Rigorous and structured — able to build where there is no framework yet, without losing operational rhythm.
  • Results-driven: this role delivers, it does not describe.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders (CIO, business directors, consulting partners) — without losing independence.
  • High resistance to ambiguity and pressure; able to hold multiple priorities simultaneously without losing rigor.
  • Constructively challenges hypotheses.
  • Proactive rather than reactive: identifies problems before they become escalations.

As a global organization, and as part of the CMA CGM Group, diversity is critical to our business success; only when we can reflect the cultures, languages, behaviors and local knowledge of our customers, we can succeed. By employing people with different experiences and abilities, we expand our knowledge and increase our creativity and innovation.
