YOUR ROLE

 

The role involves actively and successfully managing all commercial and business development matters in Vietnam. This involves the leadership of all business development individuals in country. The Field Sales Head is responsible for the development of Air & Ocean business which is controlled in the local market and is expected to support CEVA’s developments within the global network.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Provide leadership and direction to the in-country Field Sales team to identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales in both new and existing accounts that meet and exceed new business revenue goals
  • Responsible for driving growth across Air & Ocean Business

 

  • Lead sales, track new markets and emerging trends

 

  • Establish, maintain and develop profitable business relationships with existing and potential customers in support of business plan objectives
  • Participate in the pricing management process by providing account and market intelligence to support the pricing and service offerings

 

  • Develop and implement business plan and strategy to extend the Air & Ocean Products

 

  • Responsible for defining and driving the product sales strategy within the assigned territory, to achieve the company goals & budget forecasts (in terms of revenues, costs, operational profits as well as market share
  • Support the local business by rolling out market initiatives with the BD team

 

  • Deliver timely and accurate updates, reports and escalation to management

 

  • Monitor market developments and competitive positioning and assess the viability and opportunity of adjusting and expanding the product or service range. Undertake continual assessment of the market and competitor landscape

 

  • Comply with all relevant policies and procedures.

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field of study
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the freight forwarding
  • Proven track record in BD/sales leadership
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Analytical and project management skills
  • Operations trouble-shooting capability 
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
