YOUR ROLE 

As a Senior AI Specialist at CEVA Logistics, you will provide deep technical expertise in AI, machine learning and advanced analytics for logistics and commercial teams. You will design and develop solutions, work with business and technology colleagues to understand their needs, and help move effective prototypes into practical use. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on hands-on technical work. 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

•  Assess AI and analytics use cases with business stakeholders, clarifying technical feasibility, data requirements and measurable outcomes. 

•  Design, build and improve generative AI assistants and workflow automation, from prototype through implementation. 

•  Develop machine learning models for forecasting and classification across logistics and commercial use cases. 

•  Apply deep learning techniques to documents and images, including computer vision, to solve practical logistics problems. 

•  Use Python and advanced analytics to identify root causes, solve complex logistics problems and support data-driven decisions. 

•  Work with data, engineering and security teams to connect solutions to reliable data sources and existing systems. 

•  Define evaluation methods and assess accuracy, usability, security and business impact; improve solutions using user feedback. 

•  Advise stakeholders on AI capabilities and limitations, and ensure solutions follow data privacy, information security and responsible AI requirements. 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

•  Substantial hands-on experience developing and implementing AI, machine learning or advanced analytics solutions in a business environment. 

•  Strong practical knowledge of forecasting, classification, deep learning and computer vision; experience with document processing is an advantage. 

•  Experience with generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation and solution evaluation. 

•  Strong Python skills and experience with APIs, data platforms and cloud-based solutions. 

•  Ability to make sound technical design choices, translate business needs into working solutions and collaborate across functions. 

•  Strong communication skills and fluent English; additional languages are an advantage. 

•  A degree in computer science, mathematics,  

data science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
