YOUR ROLE

Work under the supervision of the Warehouse Team Leader/Supervisor and generally performs receiving of daily incoming shipments, loading and unloading freight, handling stored items, and supporting inventory counts while ensuring safe and efficient forklift and reach truck operations.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

1    Assist the Warehouse Team Leader in receiving, inspecting, and checking incoming cargoes against invoices, delivery receipts,   waybills, and other pertinent receiving       documents.
2    Assist in accurate picking, checking, and dispatching of outgoing stocks from the warehouse staging area and prepare the appropriate dispatching documents.
3    Assist in the proper handling, stacking, and arranging of cargoes into designated steel racks or warehouse locations in compliance with good warehousing practices.
4    Assist in planning delivery routes, sorting and tracking stored items, and handling daily shipping and receiving activities.
5    Responsible for preparing accurate WSR, incoming, or backload reports and submitting them to the Encoder for recording purposes.
6    Assist in periodic and regular physical inventory counting or stock taking as required.
7    Check the condition of forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet trucks and coordinate with the Purchasing and Facilities Departments on regular maintenance schedules.
8    Operate the reach truck or forklift in performing assigned storage, handling, and movement tasks within the warehouse.
9    Help maintain work areas clean and orderly at all times and ensure 5S is consistently implemented in the assigned working areas.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

•    At least college level or vocational course graduate.
•    With at least 1 year relevant working experience.
•    With certificate on forklift and reach truck operation.
•    Computer literacy is an advantage.
•    Ability to read and interpret documents.
•    Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
•    Written skills in completing paperwork accurately.
•    Ability to remember product codes of goods.
•    Ability to pick orders correctly.
•    Can communicate in English, both oral and written.
•    Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
•    Ability to take initiative and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
•    Ability to work with minimal supervision.
