YOUR ROLE
Responsible for achieving country growth targets of the assigned Sector in line with the Air & Ocean regional & global strategy.
Support country Product and to provide Sector expertise on major opportunities to ensure that customer requirements are fully understood and integrated within solutions.
Support network sales to launch or extend the Ground and CL business in the country.
Collaborate with Air & Ocean country product team to develop capabilities and facilitate CEVA product synergies and upsell.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Use a consultative sales process based upon “needs satisfaction selling” to sell CEVA’s Air & Ocean services to assigned/ targeted sector accounts, and to exceed budget.
- Schedule and conduct the number of face-to-face call activity KPI per month. These sales calls are to be focused on target accounts, new business, retention of existing accounts, and cold calling where appropriate. Generate monthly target pipeline; secure New Business monthly target; meet the monthly Budget target and generate monthly Sales leads, as part of mandated KPIs.
- Maintain and manage several target accounts with opportunities for Net Revenue at all levels as approved/directed by Management in consultation with Country Air & Ocean BD Leadership.
- Input sales activity information into CRM. This information is to be completed as directed by the BD A&O Leader in coordination with the Sector Leader.
- Work with customer and operations staff to develop standard operating procedures and detailed customer profiles for each new and existing account.
- Assist customers in their inquiries concerning the status of shipments with appropriate departments or overseas offices/agents.
- Work hand in hand with assigned Sales Support in the preparation of quotations as requested by customers and deliver them on specified dates for their review and analysis
- Participate in biddings, fairs, exhibits, and other functions that may serve as excellent business opportunities for the company
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and collection of overdue accounts
- Be the Voice of Customer to the operations and escalate critical resolution items that represent a risk to the business within Ground product.
- Conduct regular presentations of A&O business to customers for prospection and/or market and business updates.
- Monitor the credit worthiness of customers/prospects in relation to financial services
- Draft commercial contracts according to the regulations, if necessary, in cooperation with the Legal Department
- Estimate the risks/losses from litigation in conjunction with the Financial & Legal Services
- Collect debts under the litigation
- Follow with the management the profitability of customer accounts
- Establish the annual budget exercise in consultation with the Sector Leader
- Establish the business actions plan
- Analyze individual performance
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Degree in business or equivalent.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Experience working across the Air & Ocean and other products in the country.
- Experience in handling the inustrial industry clients
- Work with customers regularly and provide solutions to them.
- Account management and handling.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international logistics industry.
- Process-driven and always seeking for continuous improvement.
- Mature judgement and decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to influence and develop relationships at local level in customer organizations.
- Ability to develop highly collaborative and productive relationships internally.
Desirable:
- Master’s Degree in logistics
- 2-5 years of Logistics Account Management role.
- Proven track record in closing deals and winning bids.
- Strong and entrepreneurial spirit in Air & Ocean
- Deep expertise in developing integrated supply chain & logistics solutions relevant to Air & Ocean, domestic & international
- Strong relationship with Customer Service Team and Air & Ocean Operations
