YOUR ROLE
1.Control Tower of FVL Liner RORO: This role performs operations and customer service tasks for all RORO trades of FVL Liner as an operation, customer window, focusing on the implementation of new Chinese trades
- Ensure the smooth execution of RORO shipments while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams.
- Manage customer accounts, process documentation and adapt to rapidly changing logistics needs.
- Act as a critical liaison between customers, government agencies, and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance, timely transactions, and customer satisfaction.
- Strengthen local representation for CEVA Liner by identifying business development and promote our services.
2. Transformation support for FVL Liner : This role plays a key role on diagnosis, design and implementation of continuous improvement project
- Support continuous improvement of the control tower activities
- Coordinate the integration of the CiC control tower team into the liner’s organization
- Oversee the launch of new trade lane and establishment of new control tower in new countries where needed
- Travel to ensure onboarding and standard implication
- Play a proactive roll in launching new project to improve service quality and efficiency
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Customer Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring alignment with their logistics needs.
- Keep customer profiles updated and provide regular communication on shipment status, requirements, and service performance.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive account management.
Shipping Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate the execution of RORO shipments across all assigned trade lanes.
- Process shipping documentation and customs releases while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Manage vessel arrivals and coordinate cargo delivery according to customer forecasts and operational requirements.
- Act as a key liaison between customers, government authorities, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
Operational Excellence
- Monitor and adjust transportation plans to meet evolving customer demands.
- Collaborate with internal teams and systems to ensure efficient operations and accurate data management.
- Maintain smooth cargo flow and provide timely operational updates to all stakeholders.
- Support the continuous improvement of Control Tower processes and activities.
Problem Solving & Analytics
- Analyze customer forecasts, cargo volumes, and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Anticipate operational challenges and implement practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Contribute to performance improvement through data-driven decision making.
Transformation & Project Support
- Support the diagnosis, design, and implementation of continuous improvement projects.
- Coordinate the integration of the CiC Control Tower team into the FVL Liner organization.
- Participate in transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and service quality.
- Contribute proactively to the launch of new projects and process improvements.
Implementation of New Trade Lanes
- Support the launch of new RORO trade lanes and business activities in new countries.
- Coordinate the establishment of new Control Tower operations where required.
- Travel as needed to support onboarding activities, process implementation, and operational standardization.
- Strengthen CEVA Liner's local presence by identifying business development opportunities and promoting our services.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business, or a related field.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, shipping, supply chain, or a related operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation operations.
- Understanding of process design, implementation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to manage documentation and ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational and customer data.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Process-oriented mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
