CEVA Air & Ocean Italy S.P.A. is seeking an experienced and dedicated Logistics Operations Professional to join the Industrial Projects division. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless logistics coordination and operational excellence within our complex project logistics environment. As a key member of the IP Operations team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver outstanding service and maintain the highest operational standards.

Role Overview

As a Logistics Operations Professional, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing logistics operations specific to project-based activities in Italy. Your expertise will enable the efficient planning, execution, and monitoring of logistics workflows ensuring timely delivery and compliance with local and international regulations. This role demands a detail-oriented and proactive individual capable of handling dynamic challenges in a fast-paced industrial projects environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations for industrial projects, ensuring seamless integration of air and ocean freight services.
• Plan and organise transportation schedules, inventory movement, and delivery timelines in alignment with project requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to optimise logistics processes and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory and safety standards applicable to transportation, customs, and handling of project cargo.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for shipments, customs paperwork, and operational metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous development of logistics strategies.
• Support project managers and stakeholders by providing timely updates on logistics progress and potential risks.
• Utilise logistics software and tools to track shipments, analyse data, and generate performance reports.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in logistics operations within industrial projects, preferably with knowledge of both air and ocean freight.
• Strong understanding of international logistics regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements relevant to Italy and the European Union.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse teams, clients, and suppliers in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in logistics management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to adapt swiftly to changing circumstances.
• Fluency in English and Italian is essential to ensure clear communication and documentation.
