Cargo Readiness Representative

About the role:


A fantastic permanent role has become available in our Customer Care team for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in Auckland! Reporting to the Customer Service & Cargo Readiness Supervisor, the main responsibilities of the Cargo Readiness Representative include:

• Effective management and control across the export cargo cycle and ensure clients adhere to deadlines and deliver cargo on time.
• Monitor bookings on trade vessels departing New Zealand to ensure maximum utilisation of space.


To be successful in this role, you MUST have -

• Previous experience in shipping or logistics environment
• Knowledge of terminal / transport operations
• Previous Customer Service experience, preferably in the Shipping/Freight forwarding industry
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to foster relationships with customers
• High level Microsoft Excel skills
