The financial coordinator is a position specialised in in-depth analysis and process optimisation.

On the one hand, this position is a team player with the accounting staff, aiming to provide analyses and to implement these analyses to have a sound accounting, from a system point of view.

On the other hand, this profile aims to optimise all processes in which it is involved, in order to automate, reduce time, resources and/or improve data quality.




As Financial Coordinator your main tasks will be :


- Lead the process of digitisation and harmonisation of the P2P function across the Morocco perimeter in coordination with stakeholders (IT/Internal Departments/HO).

- Supervise/Pilot the upgrade of our accounting information systems on the perimeter COMANAV & Subsidiaries in coordination with local teams and the MOA according to the schedule that will be selected.

- To support the Finance Department in the transformation projects of the Finance organisation within the COMANAV and its subsidiaries.

- To carry out an inventory of the accounting backlogs on the entire perimeter, to quantify the financial impacts and to propose arbitrations to the Finance Department.

- Participate in the identification of tax issues within the scope and make recommendations to the Finance Department.

- Participate in the implementation of the E-Payment process on the O2C activities on the CMA CGM Morocco perimeter in coordination with the Head Office project teams.

- Participate in the animation of collection meetings on the whole Moroccan perimeter.

- To be responsible for the management control function within the Moroccan perimeter.




In accordance with the provisions of Article L122-1 of the French National Service Code, only candidates aged between 18 and 28 and of European nationality may apply for this mission dedicated to VIEs (Volunteers of International Experience).


- Higher education diploma (+5 years) specialising in Finance/Accounting

- Perfect command of English

- You have computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).

- Ideally, you have some initial professional experience in accounting.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to a new environment, listening skills, humility, patience and self-management skills are essential to succeed in this mission.
