MISSION

 

Within the Agency's Sales  team, you will be in charge of negotiating the best transport conditions with customers, taking into account the different Lines specificities. You will also be responsible for a customer portfolio which you will manage together with the Sales Representative in the field.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Within the Agency’s Sales team, you will have to secure, develop and manage traffics. In order for the Lines to optimize vessel loading, you will also have to manage a customer portfolio and build customer’s loyalty.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Within this framework, you will manage a customer portfolio related to a defined geographical area, prospect new customers, visit and manage them.

 

You will sell services from all the Group's Lines whilst respecting the Lines price policies.

 

You assist in defining budgets by working closely with the Sales Senior manager France, the Agency Management and the Commercial Manager.

 

Additionally, you will proactively plan your commercial actions in order to achieve your targets within the framework of the Commercial Action Plan.

 

Together with the Collection Desk, you will follow up payments received from the customers belonging to your portfolio. You will propose solutions to commercial and operational problems.

 

Finally, you will guarantee that the Quality, Safety and Security procedures enforced in the Company are respected.

 

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

 

You have a postgraduate degree (+4/5 years)  in International Trade or Transport/Logistics, and 2 years experience in shipping. You have good command of IT and office tools and speak English fluently.

 

Your interpersonal and negotiation skills will be essential to communicate efficiently with your contacts.

Your self-sufficiency, your availability, your organization skills, your rigor, responsiveness and proactivity will enable you to perform successfully in this position.
