The Financial Coordinator is a position specialized on in-depth analysis and processes optimization. In one hand, this position is a team player along with the accounting staff, aims to provide analysis and implement those analysis to have a healthy accounting, system-wise. In other hand, this profile aims to optimize all the processes he or she is involved, in order to automate, reduce time, resources and/or improve data quality.


As a financial coordinator, your main operational tasks are to: 
-    Notify damaged container costs (>5 USD) to consignee
-    Update Damaged container report
-    Implement automation/optimization of finance processes through Excel-Office tools (pivot, links, macros and others), cross reference with data bases, eliminate unnecessary tasks on processes, enhance related processes with SSC (Shared Service Center)
You will also have the responsibilities of analytical tasks, they imply to: 
Deal with account analysis (Balance Sheet and P&L), the choice of the account to be analyzed made by CFO/Chief Accountant. You must:
-    Obtain relevant data (Operational files, bank account info...)
-    Identify possible issues and solutions (crossing with OCEAN info and any other relevant info)
-    Coordinate with responsible for payment/cost control/finance of the agency to explain differences
-    Identify and implement clearing solutions
-    Send instructions to SSC for correction as needed
-    Check account content once the requested adjustments have been made
Organize aging supplier report clearing:
-    Obtain vendor´s books
-    Identify possible issues
-    Coordinate with Agency payment/cost control/finance to explain differences
-    Identify clearing solutions
-    Send instructions to SSC for correction if needed
-    Check aging report content once the requested adjustments have been made
Assist CFO and Chief Accountant in:
-    Preparing files for Financial and Tax yearly audits
-    HO Mission Advancement Report update and optimization
-    Any Additional Process Optimization
-    Any other calculations, implementations or finance/processes enhancement requests


According to the provisions of Article L122-1 of the National Service Code, only 18 to 28-year-old candidates and European citizens can apply to this mission dedicated to VIE (Volunteers for International Experience).

-    Postgraduate degree (+5 years) specialized in Audit, Finance/Accounting
-    Perfect fluency in English and you are able to work in Spanish.
-    You are computer literate (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
-    Ideally you have a first professional experience in Accounting. 
-    Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptation to new environment, listening skills, humility, patience and self-management skills are the essential skills necessary to succeed in this mission.
-    You working as a team and field work.
-    A previous experience in South America would be an asset to be fully successful in this mission which offers career advancement perspectives within our Group.
