Apprenticeship - Finance Transformation Project Officer (M/W)

The Finance department has launched a major transformation program. To this aim there are 2 pillars: boosting operational performance as well as driving financial performance. Recently CMA CGM embarked into the diversification of its activities while addressing digital and environmental challenges, creating opportunity for Finance to reinforce itself as a Strategic Partner. 



Missions and responsibilities

You will join the Finance Transformation team and act as Project Manager. You will work on a daily basis with the various Group stakeholders – being part of Finance or not – in Marseilles Head Office or across the worldwide subsidiaries’ network, in the Regional Offices, in offshore shared services centers.


You will coordinate the different transformation plans (impacting processes, organization, nature of functions, change of mindset) initiated by the Finance departments. You will support them in structuring their vision and driving their ambition. 

As part of the team, you will also participate in all initiatives enabling to reinforce the Finance community and to prepare ourselves for the future of finance. 


Driven by value creation and able to think out of the box, you will, for instance : 


  • Perform organization and process diagnosis to identify pain points and bottlenecks…
  • Identify areas of improvement to meet business expectations
  • Accompany business to design target operating models
  • Grant application of finance core model and support transitions to our internal offshore shared services centers 
  • Propose solutions for arbitration
  • Promote and support change 
  • Monitor projects, follow KPIs, ensure continuous improvement process 



Profile and qualification

  • Currently studying in a Master 2 in Finance 
  • Rigorous (se), autonomous and force of proposal
  • Multidisciplinary and looking for a transversal mission
  • Good interpersonal skills (contact with many different departments as well as with
    international agencies)
  • Good knowledge of the Office Pack
  • Good English skills (oral/written) is required.
