Compensation and Benefits Manager(M/F)

Role :


Within the Human Resources Department of the CMA CGM Group, you will join the Compensation and Benefits team. You will coordinate, harmonize and enforce the compensation and benefits policy within your area. You will also be responsible for supporting the business on an international scope (EMEA and Americas).





At the Group level :

  • Contribute to the design of the Compensation and Benefits policy in line with the Group guidelines, then evaluate and coordinate the actions for its implementation.
  • Develop an internal grading system and build compensation benchmarks
  • Monitor C&B practices and market developments to anticipate the HR impacts on our subsidiaries
  • Collaborate with the HRIS team and your local HR contacts to ensure the quality of data in our HR information system
  • Be a proactive partner behind the development of automated tools/dashboards and participate in their implementation


At the Regional level :

  • Ensure the external competitivity of the Compensation and Benefits structure and its internal equity through analysis and monitoring tools
  • Manage the renewal of health and welfare insurance contracts in your area
  • Contribute to the implementation of the budget and monitoring of the Group's salary review process
  • Advise the decisions making in terms of Compensation and Benefits in France and globally.
  • Ensure the alignment of local practices with the Group strategy, detect risks and provide solutions.


Qualifications and profile :


  • At least 8 years of experience in compensation and benefits within a large international group or a specialized firm
  • Financial skills and HR knowledge
  • Rigor, method and organization
  • Good interpersonal skills, diplomacy, ability to generate support and team spirit
  • Interest in data, excellent ability to use IT tools
  • Fluent English
  • Ideally a Master’s degree in Human Resources or Finance
