MISSION
Integrated into the Container Logistics Department, you participate in the activity of the contract and invoicing management unit resulting from the purchase and rental of containers
RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the Container Logistics Department, you are responsible for assisting the container rental contracts team in their daily missions.
In this context, you will be responsible for controlling part of the billing and system updating after data reconciliation.
In addition, you monitor container sublease receivables from a reporting point of view but also through direct contacts and negotiations with the debtor companies.
Finally, you will ensure that the contracts are correctly transcribed in our information system.
TASK DETAILS
- Control a portion of the container rental invoices received each month by comparing the invoiced data with the information present in our ERP which will lead to contacting suppliers to report potential discrepancies to them as well as CMA agents CGM throughout the world to ensure the compliance/reliability of our tracking (computer monitoring of all movements of our containers throughout the world)
- Ensure that the invoices that we issue (under rental of our containers) are collected within the negotiated deadlines and follow up with the debtor partners so that they pay the overdue invoices: the objective is that there is no no more than 15% of invoices overdue at any time
- Ensure that all container purchase and rental contracts are filed on the dedicated platform in order to ensure the transmission of information over time (contracts can be concluded for periods of 15 years) and with the various impacted services (notably the legal and consolidation departments)
- Make our information system more reliable by identifying active containers in our fleet and for which we are not billed because this has an impact on the Group's forecast results and commitments
- Improve the reception/validation process for invoices received, particularly from smaller suppliers, so that they are received and paid within the agreed payment deadlines
- Review with suppliers the negotiated quantities of containers that can be returned each month: each time a contract is concluded, a table specifying where and how many containers can be returned when due is approved; with the increase in volumes rented in recent months, the quantities initially planned are not sufficient to be able to return the containers in sufficient time, the quotas must therefore be revised upwards
