Internship - Data Scientist Optimization of the Fleet (M/W)

Integrated into the Operations Department, you participate in the modeling of the problem of Network Design and Fleet Optimization






  • Within the Fleet Deployment Department, you are responsible for modeling the Network Design and Fleet Optimization problem in order to identify optimization algorithms applicable to fleet management problems.
  • In this context you will work both, for the business expertise part, with the Fleet Deployment team at the Operations Department of CMA CGM as well as with its university partners from AMU (Aix-Marseille University) for the modeling part mathematics and algorithms.
  • You carry out a research and development mission which could subsequently be pursued as part of a doctoral thesis.






  • Master 2 or engineer in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics, with skills in algorithmics, artificial intelligence and in particular constraint programming and combinatorial optimization under constraints. Skills in operations research are also appreciated.
  • You have a perfect command of computer tools as well as scientific programming languages
  • You are mobile for trips between the CMA CGM tower and Aix-Marseille University depending on the work periods on the different aspects of the mission.
