Internship - Tenders Officer (M/W)

Reporting to the Global Accounts Department (GA) and to the Detention & Demurrage (D&D) activity, at the head office, you are required to work on the definition and evolution of tender contracts for our major strategic accounts, all sectors combined, at group level.


As Detention & Demurrage Officer, you are therefore responsible:
• define the Detention & Demurrage offers (pricing conditions for keeping CMA CGM equipment outside or inside the terminals by the customer: https://www.cma-cgm.fr/ebusiness/tarifs/demurrage-detention) to be included in responses to calls for tenders from Global Accounts, in conjunction with Key Account Managers (KAM),
• ensure the maintenance of these contractual conditions for invoicing and updating GA contracts.




• You are in charge of defining the D&D aspects integrated into Global Accounts calls for tenders: to do this, you analyze customer expectations relating to D&D, storage, monitoring, as well as volumes as well as the regulatory framework country by country,
• You coordinate and ensure the validation of these proposals by the department head and / or the KAM concerned by this client, and liaise with the "Tenders" team in charge of submitting responses to calls for tenders;
• You are responsible for the proper integration of data into the IT systems concerned in order to guarantee invoicing: you coordinate the transfer of information to the integration team (LDAT) based in India and verify the validity of the information provided by that -this;
• You are responsible for the maintenance of the contract and integrate the new contractual conditions of D&D, in order to guarantee the availability of data to the Customer Service in relation to the local agencies, you discuss if necessary with these agencies on the update of these conditions;
• You ensure the link between the local agencies and the Lines department if necessary, particularly concerning modifications of SPOT conditions;
• You establish a follow-up of customer performances (key figures, origin, destinations, DDSM specific to each customer) allowing to control the information coming from the agencies and to capitalize the information for the future calls for tenders.





  • You are currently doing a postgraduate degree (5 years) in Business, Logistic or Transport and have a first experience in business or marketing activities.
  • You are fluent in English and you have good command of computer and Office tools (especially Excel).
  • You are organized and self-reliant, with entrepreneurship skills.
  • Your interpersonal skills, a good sense of communication, and your team spirit make you succeed in your missions.
