Partnership Agreements Controller

THE ROLE 


Within the Pool & Partnership Department, you will have to participate in the analysis, administrative and financial follow-up and application of agreements signed between shipowners in order to develop and optimize the quality of services. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Reporting to the Partnership agreements Manager, you are familiar with the different types of partnership agreements and you will ensure their good application in order to anticipate any possible financial and operational consequences;
  • You will control allocations (overcharging, space imbalance) and produce reporting;
  • You will ensure the monitoring of contracts financial situation (invoicing, litigation, collection, partners’ disbursement, cash flow forecasts);
  • You will produce statistics studies related to contracts and analyse data, and you will implement management tools to follow up the activity;
  • You will perform a contractual monitoring by checking the contracts consistency with the operational situation;
  • Finally, you advise the various Departments on the interpretation and enforcement of contracts, spread the news, coordinate, and take actions with support Services ensuring optimum day to day follow up. 

 

 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS 

 

  • You have a postgraduate degree (4/ 5 years) in Finance, Economics or Business Control, or you’re from a Business School;
  • You have a first experience in Business Control or in Audit (internship, apprenticeship or first job);
  • You are fluent in English and you have very good command of computer and Office tools (especially in Excel advanced functions);
  • In connection with many internal people of the Company, as well as agents and owners partners, your interpersonal skills and your rigor will help you in the performance of your mission.
