Principal Cloud Security Advisor

With more than 250 team members, the Group Cybersecurity Department, covers all subsidiaries and entities of CMA CGM, with a global roadmap composed of 6 major domain streams (Maritime, Logistics, Ships, Terminals, Warehouses, and Subsidiaries). The Department currently monitors around 80 projects and provides through its 24/7 Operations continuous reliability.

 

In two and a half years, our Cybersecurity team has operated major strategic changes and implemented top-level solutions to secure even further our business activities worldwide: Risk Management tools, IAM, Office 365 security, Networks, Endpoints and Cloud protection, Application Security Enhancement, Cyber Defense Center (SOC and CERT) construction.

We look now to reinforce our teams with new skills to reach the next level of Cybersecurity and continue building a globally structured team based in Marseilles, Beirut, Manila, Montreal, Miami, and more…

In this contexte, and as a Principal Cloud Security Advisor, your role consists in helping the business on how to evolve in a secure way in the move to Cloud, acting as Technical Lead and enabler between various IT teams and Business teams to challenge the status quo.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES :

For this, you will have to:

  • Act as a Principal Cloud Security Advisor/Technical Lead within the Cyber Security team, by advising on security technologies, requirements and processes in the context of Cloud implementation and integration projects.
  • Work closely with the architects, Cloud developers, infrastructure teams and business unit stakeholders to define internal Cloud Security related policies and processes.
  • Support the development of the Cloud Security Design framework for new technology solutions.
  • Drive security initiatives to secure Cloud applications.
  • Drive the business and technical engagement to adopt the Cloud Security Strategy: ensure all solutions and products are evaluated to meet architectural designs and are aligned and optimized to deliver the business goals in a cost effective, scalable and agile way
  • Contribute in performing Cloud Security assessments against industry frameworks and recommend holistic improvements considering all aspects of the organization: participate in the evolution of strategies, foundations, frameworks, objectives and orientations of the Cloud Operation teams
  • Determine Cloud Security requirements needed to provide services securely by evaluating business strategies and threat landscapes,
  • Establish an ongoing Cloud Security monitoring and compliance according to best practices, but also provide advises on projects to help implementing recommendations of the governance team

 


PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS :

  • You are graduated from a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant degree in Cyber Security field
  • You bring at least 7 years of experience in design and implementation of large-scale Cloud Security architecture solutions in a large and complex environment
  • You must have deep technical expertise in cloud development, cloud infrastructure and services, and secure operations in the cloud, coupled with a broad understanding of the security and information technology landscape. You must be able to influence without authority, innovate to tackle tough problems, and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization
  • You have extensive experience in AWS public cloud environment and preferably also with Microsoft Azure, Office365 and Google Cloud
  • You have deep understanding of the security models of cloud providers and cloud native operations
  • You have strong knowledge about Cloud computing deployments such as IaaS, SaaS, PaaS and CaaS
  • You bring strong knowledge in all areas and security technologies within Cloud such as Identity and Access Management, Single Sign On, MFA, Secure communications and network protection, Data protection and privacy, Security Management, Audit, Cryptography, CASB, SIEM, WAF etc.
  • You have experience and good technical knowledge of application security
  • You have deep knowledge of cloud security capabilities and possible interfaces with on premise security solutions
  • You are up-to-date with cyber and information security trends and threats facing financial services, e-business solutions, and high volumes online systems
  • You are ideally certified AWS Security, CISSP, CSSP, CISM and bring a very good knowledge of standards, regulations and law governing the security of information within cloud computing such as GDPR, ISO 27001, Cloud Security Alliance, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, etc.
  • You are familiar with ITIL and COBIT
  • You are analytical, pragmatical, but also able to influence through a strong IT expertise and negotiate with various stakeholders in a customer-oriented approach, you bring for that leadership, team spirit, creativity, rigor and quality skills
  • You are able to plan, organize and drive projects, managing properly time and priorities
  • You are fluent in English and preferably in another language
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • You are detail orientated with excellent time management skills
