YOUR ROLE

The Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of TANGRAM assists the Group Education Coordinator & Managing Director of TANGRAM in the day-to-day management of the TANGRAM Center of Excellence at CMA CGM. They oversee the following strategic and operational functions: innovation, events, communication, customer experience, administration, and finance.

They ensure consistency across actions, optimize synergies between teams, and guarantee the relevance of initiatives in line with the directives of the CMA CGM Group’s Executive Management.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the DMD represents TANGRAM to internal stakeholders (learners at the center, employees from other departments, etc.) and external ones (clients, partners, institutions, etc.).


 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

1. Communication

  • Oversee internal and external communication in line with TANGRAM’s strategy and the CMA CGM Group’s communication initiatives.

  • Supervise and validate social media publications.

  • Enhance the visibility and impact of TANGRAM’s training, innovation offer, and events.

  • Ensure the continuous improvement of the mobile app and website in collaboration with technical and communication teams.

2. Events

  • Contribute to the evolution of the event catalog and planning.

  • Guarantee the preparation and smooth execution of events, in collaboration with the Events Manager.

3. Customer Experience

  • Work with the Customer Experience Manager to ensure continuous improvement of the client experience at TANGRAM.

  • Implement performance indicators and gather client feedback to adjust the center’s actions and offerings.

4. Finance & Administration

  • Oversee financial management alongside the Financial Manager.

  • Monitor the budget and optimize resource allocation.

  • Supervise supplier and contract management.

5. Innovation

  • Lead strategic thinking on innovation products and services to be developed.

  • Ensure effective integration of innovation initiatives with other internal and external stakeholders (Group Innovation, transformation, R&D, etc.), avoiding siloed approaches.

  • Ensure the relevance and alignment of innovation projects with CMA CGM Group’s strategic needs and direction.

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

  • Proven experience in project management and team leadership.

  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and synthesis skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment, with high exposure to Executive Management.

  • Excellent public speaking and representation skills.

  • Strong results orientation and ability to work synergistically with teams.
