VIE Business Developer - Mauritania

THE ROLE
You are positioned as a Business Developer, in Nouakchott or Nouadhibou, within our local CMA CGM Mauritania structure.
As part of a market-leading structure, and reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Group's development in a number of activities, both sea and inland.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In collaboration with the Agency Manager, local sales teams and relevant head office departments, you will participate in the development of the following activities:
- Intermodal: the ability to implement combined sea and land transport solutions is a priority for the Group. The development of "corridor" activities is at the heart of our new entity's strategy, with outlets in Mali, Senegal, Algeria and Morocco.
- Commercial coordination of key accounts: As the Mauritanian market is mainly informal, key accounts are crucial to sustaining our import volumes. Contributing to customer relations will be a priority in a company where human relations are crucial.
- Value Added Services: the Group is developing a new range of services (asset coverage, partner networking, trade finance, etc.) designed to add value to the services offered to our customers. Actively developing these complementary products is a priority
- Cross selling: The Group is looking to develop its contract logistics activities. You will be responsible for devising and implementing the marketing and promotion strategy for this service offering and its deployment, in conjunction with the agency's management.
For each of your assignments, you will be responsible for setting up the appropriate reporting tools to keep agency management and head office informed of progress and performance.

PROFILE & COMPETENCIES
In accordance with Article L122-1 of the French National Service Code, only candidates aged between 18 and 28 who are European nationals are eligible for this VIE assignment.
- 5 years of higher education (Bac+5) in a business school (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, EM Lyon...) or major university, you have a perfect command of English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good adaptability and a desire to develop and successfully complete projects are essential for this mission.
- Previous experience in Africa would be an additional asset to fully succeed in this mission, which represents a springboard for a career within our Group.
