JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title : Executive/Senior Executive – Outside Sales – EXIM
Department : Commercial.
Reporting To : Branch Manager
Location : Pune
Key responsibilities
• Responsible to identify business prospects with existing and new customers for the Branch.
• Self to identify 5 new accounts monthly as per the Export / Import customer database.
• Market identification from/to the location / Zone for all trades to ensure maximum market coverage
• Plan sales visits as per requirements of the trade and line management
• Adhere to the budgeted number as guided by the management
• Visit planning: To be sent every Friday for following week to the reporting manager.
• Daily sales reports to be updated in LISA with CC to Branch manager & Area commercial manager
• To gather market information on competition actions, new services & business opportunities and share the same with concern stake holders in the organization
• MIF: Identify more potential business from respective area/zone and translate to MIF file for future reference. Target and replace the nonperforming customers with new customers
• Generate sales lead for Export / Import and send to respective agencies
Key performance standards
• Identify New Potential Areas / New potential clients.
• Number of visits: Minimum 12 sales visits per week
• Prepare sales call plan and sales visits as per set targets.
• Ensure sales target achieved for self
• Keep oneself updated with market information and same to share within the team.
• Achieve sales leads KPI as set by the sales manager for the branch.
• Propose business to pricing desks in HO/RO, followed by LARA quotation filing in coordination with inside sales
• Monitor and review lost business and take initiative to regain those business
• Sales lead & specific opportunity as per defined KPI
Requirements and specific skills
• Graduation with good computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good analytical and negotiation skills to generate export & import business
• Sales experience (Minimum 2-3yrs in similar position)
• Well verse with MS office tools, especially power point presentations.
