Customer Service Team leader Export

What will your duties and responsibilities be?

As a Team Leader of the Export department you will make sure that all shipments are handled in line with all CMA CGM policies and procedures, the Customer Care Charter is fully met and that the team works in line with the local strategy. Your main tasks will be:

  • Assisting in day-to-day operations, being an active part of the team
  • Issuing general notifications to customers in case of vessel delays, strikes and acts of God
  • Recruiting, training, supervising and evaluating team members. Coordination of workload leave of absence approval
  • Serving as an escalation point for both customers and all departments
  • Ensuring deadlines as per set KPI’s are met
  • Monitoring timely handling of invoice disputes / customer invoices
  • Identifying improvements and providing feedback on day-to-day business

Who are you?

We are looking for a enthusiastic and driven colleague who has affinity with transport and shipping. You have a MBO (level 4) or Bachelor degree and/or have very relevant work experience in a similar position. In addition, you bring the following knowledge, skills and experience with you:

  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English (both written & oral)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to get along with others and be a team player
  • Customer- and result oriented, able to build and maintain long-term relationships
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
  • Ability to handle a proper administration
  • Proactive / meticulous and timely work attitude
  • Leadership
