Group Agencies Network Manager

NAM – NETWORK AREA MANAGER

 

The main areas of responsibility of the Network Area Manager are:

 

Organisation

  • Carry out overall review with regards to  Agency organisation
  • Organization chart : ensure that it is correctly communicated and reflects the organisations
  • Ensure that the Agency Finder is correctly updates
  • In coordination with the BPM, ensure that core alignment takes place
  • Coordinate integreation projects including APL and Containerships
  • Ensure Nominations and Instructions are relayed across the network
  • Carry out and monitor country specific reporting
  • Ensure that a cost review process is in place to optimize in house v’s Sub Agents

 

Human Resources

  • Validate Headcount recruitment
  • Headcount reporting (Safran vs C&Me; allocation of correct Business Unit, Job description, non-agency Headcount to reinvoice)
  • Manage Projects - Headcount Impact e.g. SSC Transfer and Roadmap projects), C&Me reporting
  • Participate in Key staff identification / Talent review / Succession plan in coordination with HR Talent Team
  • Control Seconded staff and Temporary staff not on payroll
  • Participate in the Salary Review
  • Participate in Staff retention / Promotions
  • Monitor Social climate in Region with HR colleagues and ERO HR

 

Systems Tools

  • In coordination with the Commercial Area Manager follow up on KPIs for LISA CRM
  • Monitor Digital agency KPIs
  • Track usage of Ocean, Sage, Get Paid

 

Real Estate

  • Participate in Offices & Real Estate optimisation

 

Legal

  • Optimize and Update Board of Directors structure
  • Manage the various Agreements (Agency agreement, BO, Cluster, IT fees, SLA (SSC, CS…), subagent…) in coordination with Legal at HO and local level
  • Implement General Manager Internal Delegation of Authority
  • Coordinate in Corporate legal activities: Shareholders and BOD meetings, Compliance
  • Ensure that the Authority Matrix is updated
  • Participate in the Partner relation negotiation

 

Performance Monitoring

  • Review Agency Scorecard
  • Review Sales Performance in coordination with Commercial Area Manager
  • Review Local Revenue in coordination with Commercial Area Manager

 

 

Process

  • Champion Simplification, Automatization digitalization
  • Ensure that correct Training is delivered
  • Monitoring effectiveness and activities of  local Business Process Managers
  • Coordination of project roadmap : (SSC, NOVA, Digital, Agency sizing, Cluster, Procurement C Mona…)

 

Operations

  • Support for operations difficulties in coordination with port operations manager
  • Idle, full empty follow up

 

Finance

  • Interface with Head office Opex / Procurement for OPEX – Agility – Negotiations and agreements with Head Office
  • Implementation and proposal of OPEX
  • Internal Audit (follow up of agency action plan and support to Audit preparation
  • In coordination with CAN/ERO Head Accounts receivable and Credit Control follow up on  Past Due, DSO, Unallocated cash, Disputes, Credit terms
  • Monitor D&D invoicing (TBI) and collection
  • Finance & Reporting :
    -P&L (Safran consolidation )
    -Annual accounts audited 
  • Manage Third Party collector Agreement, Lara access,
  • Dividend optimisation
  • Ensure Budget completed in correct way
  • Preparation of audit and follow up of action plan post audit in coordination with HO Tax

Tax optimisation / Tax Audit

 

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Graduated with a Masters in Business or management, you have gained a first experience in Lines or Agency organization or Finance

 

You are fluent in English and are used to working in an international environment.

You have a good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, IT tools, and if possible Qlikview. You also have a good knowledge of CMA CGM tools.

 

Your interpersonal skills, good communication skills and your qualities of self-reliance, organization and coordination are key assets to carry out the tasks of this position.
