Sales Support provides accurate and timely administrative support to Account Managers and Sales Managers for a portfolio of customers. In addition Sales Support acts as a liaison between the customer, sales and various cross-functional departments on operational issues.


% of time spent

Provides administrative and sales support to the Account Manager and/or Sales Manager.
Follow-up on leads provided by Account Managers, Trade and HO
Support on daily issues and questions
Follow up on workflow and NVR list
Manage and act on customer performance, such as missing shippers
Assist with management of customer allocation
Participation with weekly sales meetings

Quotation management
Handle all quotation requests from account managers and customers
Follow-up on quotations
Accurate filing of quotations, including FMC filings
Provide feedback to the Trade
Present business cases to HO and Trade

Market Identification
Identify customer potential
Filing in Lisa CRM

Value Added Services
Promotion of group services and non-maritime products such as e-Commerce, CMACGM+, Intermodal and CEVA cross selling

Dispute management
Contribute to dispute resolution with pricers and back-offices
Provide assistance on root cause analysis

Operational budget not relevant. Commercial goals and budgets to be determined and reflected in annual appraisal process.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum education:
MBO (level 4)

Minimum relevant work experience:
Relevant working experience

Management experience
Less than 2 years

Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a preference
Knowledge of MS Office software, CRM software and relevant CMA-CGM systems.
Driver’s license
