VIE Cost and Revenue Efficiency Lead (M/F) - CMA CGM Costa Rica

As business partnering profile and in coordination with the Cluster CFO, you realize cost and revenue audits across the Cluster to analyze the opportunities to cost avoidance/ reduction and revenue increase. You support the Cluster CFO in the production of information and business cases to drive the best agency’s performance by cost and revenue perspective.




In collaboration with the CFO, your missions are as follows:



- Prepare (Internal detailed checking of port) and create actions plan
- Conduct costs and revenue control on site revisions
- Verify Agency contract, procedures, operating rules, and document work compliance.
- Document findings and claims and Investigate irregularities and recommend corrective measures
- Propose optimization on operational process (cost and revenue)
- Follow-up on implementation of recommendations and improvements



- Write the Executive Summary Presentation and Report following Cost Control Standard
- Compile financial and operational data into single source of truth providing detailed cost/revenue evolutions and explanations of variations and actions taken to improve financial performance




- Monitor Agency and SSC performance and KPIs to improve process and correct recurrent issues




- Perform trend variance analysis to provide detailed and robust variance explanations
- Regularly meet with key stakeholders to further confirm and validate analysis findings and gather information on actions taken by the responsible departments to correct and improve financial performance
-Find, implement, and follow initiatives or projects willing to optimize Cluster margin



- Provide relevant information to procurement, business development and other teams for
negotiations, new projects, and processes improvement
- Drive the GAIN Initiatives across the Cluster
- Support of the Regional Office and carry out transversal studies and analyzes on request.





According to the provisions of Article L122-1 of the National Service Code, only applicants aged 18 to 28 and
European nationals will be eligible for this proposed assignment in the form of a VIE.
- Postgraduate degree specialized in Audit, Finance/Accounting
- Preferred experience in shipping and logistics or transport
- Perfect fluency in English and Spanish
- 3+ years of experience in audit, internal control or cost control and revenue management
- Working knowledge in informatic and analytics tools, and presentation of information
- You are computer literate (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptation to new environment, listening skills, humility, patience, and
self-management skills are the essential skills necessary to succeed in this mission
- You working as a team and field work.
- A previous experience in Latin America would be an asset to be fully successful in this mission which
offers career advancement perspectives within our Group.
