Business Development Analyst

Reporting to General Manager, CCIS Asia Cluster, you will play a vital role in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting for on-going projects. As part of business development, you have the exciting opportunity to also present and develop new ideas, as well as to execute your proposals.

Main responsibilities:
Monitoring and Reporting (60%)

  • Prepare and present to management team on new CCIS Asia and Oceanic cluster budget, including cost measurement and profit & loss updates. 
  • Performance monitoring, cost analysis and performance dashboards with profit and loss justification.
  • Provide measurement and key performance indicators dashboards on service Reliability and develop corrective steps


Business Development (30%)

  • Keeping abreast and sharing of latest market intelligence and insights
  • Proposed new services or service changes to match trade and market developments
  • Plan and execute detailed service cascade of all service changes and new service deployments in coordination with Agency, Regional and Head Office teams 


Negotiation (10%) 

  • Direct negotiations with existing or new partners to establish adjustments to existing services and/or new services or agreements.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline 
  • At least 3 to 5 years of working experience as business analyst or cost analyst
  • Proficient in MS Excel (vlookup & pivot table) 
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of the shipping or logistic industry is highly advantageous 
  • Meticulous and have a strong sense of work commitment
