Regional Investigator for APAC

The objective of this role is to conduct the APAC Head of Corporate Audit Department to conduct sensitive investigations concerning fraud, unethical conduct and other misconduct.

As part of the Corporate Audit Department, which is very business and process oriented, the candidate will be required to intervene on potential fraud and corruption cases on APAC area but can also be involved on cases worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationship with local, regional and corporate management in identifying and managing the risks associated to the assigned portfolio / investigations. 
  • Execute complex investigation, perform data analytics & forensic, analyse the results against defined anti-fraud & investigation objectives and criteria.
  • Document and file relevant facts and information in accordance with practices, procedures and standards to support the work performed and conclusion drawn
  • Evaluate investigation results, weigh the validity, accuracy and risk perspectives to provide recommendations against the reviewed evidence
  • Present value-added result and recommendations to management for monitoring and controlling of risk concerns and propose recommendations for process improvements
  • Prepare clear and concise investigation reports
  • Provide support on its expertise to the team member.
  • Spread the Anti-Fraud Group’s principles through communication, trainings and pro-active actions.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Graduated from a business or engineering school - and possibly certified fraud examiner (CFE).
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in fraud investigation or similar activities, ideally in a large company or a public institution.
  • Working experience in government agencies are welcome to apply
  • Knowledge in Shipping and/or Logistics sector will be advantageous
  • Strong writing, analytical and synthesis skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills are required.
