Network Performance Engineer

Introduction:  

With CMA CGM’s commitment to accelerate our digital transformation, we have a new requirement to recruit an experienced Network Performance Engineer in Singapore.  

Based in Singapore Office, you will be part of Network Expertise & Innovation Team, in charge of Network Infrastructures/Solutions Evolution and Transformation projects but also providing support in case of major or critical performance incidents. 

 

Your main Responsibility include, but not limited to:  

50% - Network Evolution and Transformation Projects  

  • Network Performance Roadmap Management in complex environment : Legacy Datacenters, Cloud Hybrid/AWS, SaaS, SD-WAN, CDN, Zscaler 
  • Network Performance Solutions management, configurations and Dashboard 
  • Network Performance Analysis & Troubleshooting 
  • Migration or operation plan definition, validation and coordination 
  • Documentation realization and updates 
  • Maintenance in operational conditions (MRO) of Network infrastructures – Obsolescence, capacity and vulnerabilities management 
  • Configuration Audit and Continuous Improvement Plan management 

 

50% - Level 3 Support  

  • Providing Level 3 Support on network and performance incidents – Users support 
  • Incidents and problems management: technical analysis, coordination in incident resolution, RCA 

 

We are looking for a team-player, with good communication and initiative to join us. It is highly preferable if you understand all the building blocks of the information system, application layers, servers, virtualization, Cloud, etc.  

 

Minimum Requirement:  

To be suitable for this role, you should have:  

  • A Degree or equivalent in related IT discipline from a recognised education institution  
  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in managing Network Performance, with strong ability to troubleshoot 
  • Proficient with Netscout nGeniusONE probes and administration console configuration, Netflow, Wireshark, Dynatrace and Content Delivery Network  
  • Ability to work autonomously and well in a multi-national matrix set-up  

 

Good to Have knowledge:  

  • Monitoring, Alerting and Log Management : Icinga, Graylog Pingplotter, Centreon  
  • Automation & Orchestration : Tufin, Algosec, Ansible, TerraForm, GitLab, Jenkins 
  • LAN/WIFI (Switching/Routing/Segmentation) : Cisco, Cisco ACI, Meraki
