Summary:
Reporting to the Trade Manager (Gateway), the successful candidate is responsible for overall commercial activities of your assigned service(s) from Asia with target to maximize revenue, liftings and profitability.

Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Trade Manager in overall commercial activities of your assigned service(s) and geographic area(s).
- Deputize in the absence of Trade Manager to drive gateway performance and provide trade updates.
- Assist both Regional and Head Offices in establishing pricing policy for Asia to your assigned area(s)
- Handle pricing and local tenders’ responses for defined services and geographic areas.
- Monitor and analyse vessel performance, loading factors, daily positions and allocation prepared by the Head Office and then take necessary actions.
- Monitor and analyse Agents' weekly vessel profile and weekly performance.
- Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including international freight forwarders and agencies.
- Proactively source for reliable market intelligence (rates/capacity adjustments) to stay on top of market changes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum a Diploma Holder, preferably in shipping, logistics management or business administration;
- 0 - 3 years of working experience in the shipping / logistics / freight forwarding industry;
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply;
- Proficient in MS Excel (Vlookup and Pivot Table), highly preferred;
- Good market knowledge and computer skills;
- Strong communication skills and customer oriented
