Accelerator Developer (ZeBox America)

Position Summary:
ZEBOX focuses on two sectoral areas: transport, mobilities, logistics on a firsthand applied to several segments including energy which is a strategic development focus, and industry 4.0 on the other hand. Selected projects provide technological and sustainable innovation: artificial intelligence, blockchain, virtual or augmented reality, IoT and robotics.

Launched in February 2022, ZEBOX AMERICA is led by Charley Dehoney, an expert of transportation, supply chain, and logistics technology with strong entrepreneurial skills. 

The Accelerator Development Representative will be the tip of the spear on start-up recruitment and engagement. This person will own the research and outreach functions of our startup recruiting to ensure consistent pipeline growth and increasing application numbers. This team will single handedly make or break ZEBOX AMERICA's start-up recruitment function. 

Working with the VP and Chief of Staff, the Accelerator Development Representative will create and implement strategies and plans to identify, qualify, and recruit potential startups to the pipeline for consideration to be added to the ZEBOX AMERICA community. 

 

This position will be responsible to: 

  • Create marketing and recruiting strategies and plans for identifying potential startups to consider for joining ZEBOX AMERICA 
  • Engage in sourcing and recruiting activities to identify and qualify startups 
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with partners, media, incubators, accelerators, startups, investors, corporations, universities, and other strategic partners aimed at increasing capability to identify and qualify startups 
  • Conduct research and manage outreach functions and events 
  • Effectively handle emails, calls, and social media to prospective startups to create a positive image 
  • Contribute to the creation of the development of the ZEBOX startup ecosystem including accelerators, incubators, founders, service providers, and potential partners 
  • Represent ZEBOX AMERICA at events to develop thought leadership positions in USA market 

 

Skill Sets / Education & Experience Requirements: 

  • Associates degree in business related field or comparable experience, 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and relationship building/ Passionate about making people feel comfortable 
  • Positive nature and upbeat attitude 
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, able to multitask 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to coordinate schedules, events, and meet deadlines 
  • Strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Skilled with G-Suite or Microsoft Office application in managing schedules and preparing presentations

An effective Accelerator Development Representative is: 

  • Key contact for recruiting Startups 
  • Sources and qualifies startups for possible inclusion in ZEBOX AMERICA community 
  • Creates channels and networks to identify potential startups 
  • Engages startups initially to create interest in joining the ZEBOX AMERICA community 

 

Collaborator from recruiting to onboarding: 

  • Support startups as they enter the ZEBOX community 
  • Works with the ZEBOX AMERICA staff to effectively onboard all new startups to the ZEBOX community 
  • Acts as a champion to identify and quality startups 
  • Provides guidance and coaching
