Continuous Improvement Officer

YOUR ROLE
You are working across CMA Ships entity, under the responsibility of the Quality Process & Development Manager, for all continuous improvement related topics.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
- Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations
- Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies
- Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis
- Standardize feedbacks management tools and methods
- Develop and encourage sharing of good practices
- Support and coach the different departments in strengthening root cause and problem-solving methods
- Ensure the correct application of those techniques
- Conduct review meetings on a regular basis
- Lead working groups
- Define, monitor and communicate on associated indicators.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
- Graduated from a Master’s degree in quality or engineering with a specialization on continuous improvement
- At least 3 years’ experience in a position directly applying lean and quality problem solving techniques. A maritime legal background is a plus
- You have expertise on continuous improvement tools (LEAN, RCA, Failure Mode Effect Analysis,…). Having a LEAN Six Sigma certification is appreciated
- Fluent English, French is appreciated
- You have Analytical and Project Management skills, as well as effective verbal, written and presentation skills
- Ability to apply structured problem-solving methodologies.
