THE ROLE
 
Source, contract and monitor supplier performance on a given expenses segment.
 


RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations
  • Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies
  • Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis
  • Benchmark on the market the sourcing possibilities on your segment
  • Negotiate and implement contract with suppliers in your segment; mitigate cost exposure
  • Prepare, Monitor and Follow KPI on your segments
  • Focal point for cross functional team
  • Solve risks & threats for solutions to mitigate such risks in case of an unforeseen event 
  • Apply the internal practices defined by the Group Procurement
  • Be a key user on IT tools (P2P/BI/SRM/ Contract Management)
  • Optimise the purchasing processes.

 
 
PROFILE & COMPETENCIES

 

  • Master's Degree in business or engineering
  • 10+ years in technical procurement, ideally in the maritime / logistics sector.
  • 5 years within international environment, in charge of mutlimillion purchases portfolios
  • Experience in purchasing strategy, project management, negotiation and contract management is needed
  • Fluent English, French is appreciated
  • Results driven, good relationship skills
