YOUR ROLE

You work in the Technical Expertise department of CMA Ships as an Expert on 2-stroke engines. In this context, you:

• Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations
• Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies
• Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

• Provide expertise support in your field of competences to the fleets and ships
• Propose solutions to optimize vessels’ maintenance, design and operation
• Ensure technical communication outside CMA CGM to promote the technical skills of the CMA CGM group
• You may represent the Company in various meetings, conferences, public institutions, etc
• Closely work with R&D department of our suppliers for improvement
• Accumulate and share the experience across the fleets
• Prepare information and feedbacks to the fleets
• Know the supplier network and establish a good relation between societies
• Establish medium and long term strategy

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

• Master’s degree in engineering
• At least 5 years' experience in the maritime industry on 2-Stroke Engines related topics
• Management or Project management skills
• Technically competent with various software programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
• Analytical skills
• Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment
• Fluent in English.
