You will be reporting to Deputy Head of Digital Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible of designing, implementing and maintaining the shipboard IT Architecture Design. You will also be managing the integration of IT with Operation technology (OT) Systems in compliance with regulatory rules, cyber security guidelines to support the delivery of solutions that meet organizational goals and vessel performance indicators.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize design and implement Shipboard IT Architecture network and facilitate integration with OT network to support the implementation of Fleet-wide Performance Monitoring and Automation projects across CMA CGM fleet
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and implement technical solutions with the aim to meet the vessel performance management requirements and organizational goals
  • Analyse design and implementation issues that affect delivery of project deliverables and vessels’ performance tracking as well as to propose/implement short-term and long-term solutions
  • To implement and enforce IT Governance Procedures in:
    • Vessel New Buildings’ plan approval process of IT and OT systems implemented IT/OT network on board
    • Review of OT and IT systems introduced in the overall network on board
  • Participate in the implementation of Cyber Security project i.e. cyber security roadmap/framework across CMA CGM vessels with the aim to achieve IMO2021 Cyber Security Compliance
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security and Ship Management teams to develop Fleet IS Security standards and industry best practices for implementation across the fleet
  • To harmonize IT Architecture Network Design across the fleet  

To excel in this role, you will need to possess great communication skills and the ability to think ahead.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Professional certification in IT Network design and/or relevant experience
  • Good knowledge and experience in IT/cyber security best-practices preferred.
  • Ability to travel when required
  • Maritime experience in one or more of the following domains (e.g. shipboard IT and OT systems - engine automation, navigation, trim/fuel/route optimization, cybersecurity, incident handling, investigation) will be an added advantage.
