Operations Executive

 

CHENG LIE Navigation Company (CNC Line) is a leader in intra-Asia trade. Subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, CNC Line offers personalized services and has specific expertise in the transport of containers with temperature control (refrigerated containers or Reefers).

 

 

Summary

As part of the Line Operations team in CNC, you play an essential part in assisting the operations managers to manage the vessels’ voyages. This includes stowage optimization, managing bunker consumption and ensuring vessels punctuality. 
We are looking for a team-player, with critical thinking and interpersonal skills. 

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, update and maintain the in-house vessel schedule management system, including daily position, phase in/out, special event, permanent route creation
  • Prepare Daily and long-term schedule for internal as well as external, ensure the accuracy of data and information prior communicating to various stakeholders 
  • Assisting Operation manager or Deputy Operation manager on date-to-date operation issues such as schedule monitoring, service optimization, OOG and DG acceptance, berthing schedule ETC...
  • Prompt communication with internal and external stakeholders (Commercial, Vessel and terminals) on optimal schedule on several Feedering services. 
  • Proactive communication with ship Master, Centre Planner, Cargo team and Front-Line Marine teams to establish Marine Operational goals and objectives on server Feedering services. 
  • Keep abreast to Fleet Control KPIs in terms of Schedule reliability & optimized bunker consumption for several Feedering services. 
  • Assist in weekly report preparation. 

 
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain & Logistic / Maritime Business
  • 2 - 4 year of relevant experience in maritime industry 
  • Basic knowledge on shipping industry and vessel operations
  • Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
