EDI Specialist

For our head office in Hamburg we are recruiting an EDI Specialist (m/f/d).

 

The B2B/EDI Team is part of the Containerships Transformation Department. The EDI Specialist is responsible for proving solutions and services enabling customers and the business to get a better customer experience and effective execution. This roles liaises with various internal stakeholders, such as Trade, Sales, and Customer Service.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Manage, develop and support our external and internal IT interfaces using standard Middleware BIS 6 Seeburger (EDI, XML, SQL, API, etc.)
  • Deliver high quality, relevant and reliable solutions to end-users that help them achieve their business objectives
  • Drive and coordinate improvements with business and other transformation development teams in group-wide projects
  • Act as the central point of contact for international external and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure a holistic approach on digitalizing business processes and workflows by considering continuous changing IT architecture
  • Work in close cooperation with other transformation teams and process owners

 

You bring aboard:

  • Work experience with using Seeburger
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience in programming languages
  • Experience in the logistics / transportation sector is a plus
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering or equivalent
  • Very good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Team player with a self-driven working attitude to meet agreed tasks and objectives
  • Willingness to learn, both business-wise as well as regarding existing or new IT solutions
  • Proactive problem solver, with a positive mindset who can make things happen
