BCO & Freight Forwarder Sales Representative - West Region

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new BCO and freight forwarder customers in the assigned region
  • Grow business with existing accounts through regular visits and proactive follow-up
  • Promote CMA CGM Group’s full range of services (shipping, VAS, sustainability products, cargo care, logistics solutions)
  • Develop tailored, consultative sales solutions based on customer needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
  • Manage sales opportunities via CRM tools (Salesforce Nova)
  • Keep opportunities, customer interactions, and activities updated in CRM
  • Support accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting
  • Monitor market trends, trade flows, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Share insights with management on pricing, service requirements, and new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with Trade, Operations, Customer Service, and Sales Support teams
  • Coordinate resolution of service or operational issues
  • Provide market intelligence to support commercial strategy and capture new cargo

 

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, International Trade, Logistics, Maritime Studies or similar)
  • 1–7 years commercial experience in container shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics
  • Experience working with both BCO and freight forwarder customers
  • Proven track record in new business development and account growth
  • Strong understanding of shipping line operations, trade dynamics, and pricing
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce Nova)
  • Strong B2B sales, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to offer value‑based solutions and handle objections effectively
  • Experience in customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (part of the interview will be conducted in English)
