The Project Logistics team focus on customer requirements that require out-of-gauge, exceptional bulky or heavy product movements with a focus on assessment, planning, and chartered or multimodal transportation solutions to ensure that our customer requirements are delivered on time, every time and they are looking to recruit an experienced Export Coordinator who has been operating in import and export environments.


Based at our Altens Aberdeenshire operation, you will focus on multimodal movements across Air, Ocean, and Road freight services, where you will provide outstanding operational and customer service excellence.




Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will sit within a multi-modal operation responsible for receiving, managing, and monitoring all export shipments ranging from Air, Ocean, and Road services where you will ensure that customer requirements are delivered, documentation is completed, and goods are delivered on time and without delay. You will liaise directly with customers, overseas agents, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that each part of the process is achieved in a timely fashion, providing guidance when issues occur and offering solutions so not to delay operational activities.


In addition to day-to-day activities, you may be required to actively participate in projects to meet operational and customer service excellence.




Our ideal candidate will have operated in an export or multi-modal role, ideally within a freight forwarding environment, experienced in customs clearances and export processes. You will have ideally worked across Air, Ocean and Road imports or exports, however experience across all is not necessary.


You will be strong communicator with the ability to form relationships internally and externally, possess excellent customer service skills, be a logical thinker and natural problem solver who can prioritise their own workload with efficiency and accuracy. 


This role will work Monday to Friday, across a 40-hour week, earning up to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience and also includes an Aberdeen weighting allowance of £2,300 per annum.
