YOUR ROLE
Our unique Special Projects team based in Altens, Aberdeen have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and customer focused Multi-Model Coordinator where you will support with the execution of export shipments across Air, Ocean, Road, and Rail services.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will sit within a multi-modal operation responsible for receiving, managing, and monitoring all export shipments ranging from Air, Ocean, Road, and Rail services where you will ensure that customer requirements are delivered, documentation is completed, and goods are delivered on time and without delay. You will liaise directly with customers, overseas agents, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that each part of the process is achieved in a timely fashion, providing guidance when issues occur and offering solutions so not to delay operational activities.
In addition to day-to-day activities, you may be required to actively participate in projects to meet operational and customer service excellence.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have operated in an export or multi-modal role, ideally within a freight forwarding environment, experienced in customs clearances and export processes. You will have ideally worked across Air, Ocean, Road, and Rail imports or exports, however experience across all is not necessary.
You will be strong communicator with the ability to form relationships internally and externally, possess excellent customer service skills, be a logical thinker and natural problem solver who can prioritise their own workload with efficiency and accuracy.
This role will work Monday to Friday, across a 40-hour week, earning up to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience. The package also includes an Aberdeen weighting allowance of £2,300 per annum.
