YOUR ROLE
As Regional Logistics Coordinator, you play a key role in ensuring the right equipment is available in the right place, at the right time, and at the lowest possible cost. Acting as the link between depots, terminals, agencies, and central teams, you oversee stock levels, container flows, and regional performance. You drive operational efficiency by coordinating repositioning, monitoring service levels and costs, and supporting agencies with training and guidance. Beyond daily operations, you proactively contribute to process improvements, cost savings, and strategic projects, while keeping a global view of the business and supporting the regional network with problem-solving and operational expertise.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
- You monitor daily the stocks (depot allocation strategy) and idles (all iso types) on terminals and Depots to ensure stocks are sufficient (for export bookings or mty backload) at the right time at lowest costs
- You monitor Regional performances (Monitor Regional Equipment Tracking Performance and Tracking Quality)
- You coordinate and monitor regional container sales, on hire and off hire as per Head Office LOG strategy
- You provide training and documentation to agencies
- You monitor recovery and logistics fees performances
- You monitor Logistics savings and CIP in view of OPEX committees and as per budget
- You monitor depot service levels (determination of SLA, audits, market intelligence)
- You ensure Exports forecasts in the Region are accurate and coordinate with Regional Office Sales team
- You coordinate with the Maintenance & Repair department
- You strive in the complete package of tasks, pro-active to keep the costs low
- You manage projects on the instructions of your manager
- You can see the bigger picture, think out of the box
- You can work together with a big network of depots, terminals and transportation company’s
- You are able to perform tasks quickly and with operational sensitivity
- You position yourself as support to ILS teams in the Region and able to help them in a problem-solving way
- You support the network operationally on daily tasks if necessary
- You report to your manager on a daily basis and you are constantly looking for improvement of our department
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
- Graduated with a Masters in Business, Logistics, you have gained a first experience in shipping, logistics, intermodal and / or transportation field.
- You are fluent in French and English and are used to work in an international environment.
- You have a good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, IT tools.
- Your interpersonal skills, good communication skills and your qualities of self-reliance, organization and coordination are key assets to carry out the tasks of this position.
