Regional Data and Digital Project Expert

1. Purpose of the Role

The Digital Project Manager ensures the successful execution and delivery of digital and data initiatives within the MEIEA region, aligning with business objectives, governance standards, and timelines.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation to deployment.
  • Define scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across business, IT, and vendors.
  • Manage risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Manage project budgets and optimize resources.
  • Oversee testing, UAT, and go-live activities.
  • Provide reporting on project KPIs, progress, and risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned.

3. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as main interface between Business Process Experts and IT teams.
  • Ensure alignment and communication across all project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate decision-making and escalation management.

4. Profile & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in project management and / Or Shipping and transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience in delivering digital or IT projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

5. Certifications (Optional)

  • PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification is a plus.
