YOUR ROLE

 


Based in the Abu Dhabi Regional Office (ADRO), covering the IMEA region, you will support the regional procurement organization in driving governance, performance monitoring, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional coordination.


Working closely with the Head of Procurement and key regional stakeholders, you will contribute to executive decision-making through data analysis, performance reporting, market intelligence, and project management activities.


This role offers significant exposure to procurement operations, strategic initiatives, and senior stakeholders across Procurement, Operations, Finance, Legal, Commercial teams, Regional Offices, and Head Office.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 


You will support the regional procurement team in enhancing visibility, governance, analytical capabilities, and operational performance across the IMEA region.

 

A. Strategic & Executive Support

 

Prepare executive presentations, management reports, briefing notes, and decision-support materials
Support the preparation of monthly business reviews, quarterly strategy reviews, and annual planning exercises
Translate strategic priorities into structured action plans with clear timelines and deliverables
Contribute to regional and global procurement governance discussions and strategic reviews
Support communication between procurement leadership and key stakeholders

 

B. Governance & Project Management

 

Monitor strategic initiatives and track their progress against established objectives
Identify risks, delays, bottlenecks, and potential gaps in execution
Follow up on actions, commitments, and decisions taken during procurement meetings and governance forums
Coordinate governance and reporting requirements across regional and Head Office teams
Support the execution of procurement transformation and operational improvement projects

 

C. Analytics & Performance Monitoring

 

Analyze spend patterns, supplier performance, operational KPIs, and cost drivers
Develop analytical models to support benchmarking, cost optimization, and value creation initiatives
Build dashboards, reports, and performance tracking tools to improve visibility across the region
Support should-cost analysis, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and value optimization assessments
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making

 

D. Market Intelligence & Business Insights

 

Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Monitor developments within the shipping, logistics, and terminal operations sectors
Consolidate market intelligence and provide strategic recommendations
Support procurement strategies through data-driven analysis and business insights

 

E. Procurement & Commercial Support

 

Support procurement initiatives through analytical, financial, and operational assessments
Assist in contract performance monitoring and supplier governance activities
Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and vendor performance indicators
Contribute to procurement budgeting and forecasting exercises
Participate in cross-functional initiatives involving procurement, operations, finance, legal, and commercial teams

 

F. Stakeholder Coordination & Regional Exposure

 

Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies
Facilitate alignment between operational, commercial, and procurement priorities
Support issue resolution through effective stakeholder engagement and coordination
Develop strong relationships across Regional Offices, Head Office, and external partners

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 


In accordance with the provisions of Article L122-1 of the National Service Code, only candidates aged 18 to 28 and European nationals are eligible for this mission offered as a VIE.

 

  • Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Strategy, or a related field
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, strategy, consulting, analytics, operations, shipping, logistics, ports, terminal operations, or related industries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Power BI, dashboarding, data visualization tools, automation solutions, or AI-enabled productivity tools is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and international environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to coordinate across functions without direct authority
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and performance reporting tools
  • Knowledge of shipping, logistics, terminal operations, procurement, or supply chain environments is an advantage
  • Exposure to financial analysis, commercial contracts, or operational performance management is a plus
  • Proactive, structured, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious mindset
  • Team player with a strong collaborative approach
  • Fluent in English; French and/or Arabic would be an advantage
