Compensation Analyst - NORTAM

YOUR ROLE


Participate in the Company’s overall compensation initiative (Base and Variable pay programs) by administering compensation surveys, job evaluations and overall compensation analysis to support the Company’s business goals and initiatives. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
 

  • Coordinate annual participation in salary surveys regarding both exempt and non-exempt positions. Maintain detailed records of participation matches and survey participation information. 
  • Assist Manager and Senior Compensation Analyst(s) in market studies and job evaluations.
  • Assist in the administration of variable pay programs and the calculation of quarterly, semi-annual and annual incentive programs.
  • Assist in the administration of the annual merit process.
  • Partner with US HR Managers and business leaders to provide compensation training as needed and assist with compensation questions. Support LATAM/Mexico with Compensation related requests.
  • Maintain Master Title list with pay grade information, set up new positions and distribute listings as needed.
  • Process Wage requests in a timely manner.
  • Interact with CEVA Managers at all levels to discuss and advise on compensation issues.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources, preferred.
  • Minimum two years in a compensation department or a generalist role with heavy compensation focus required with bachelor’s degree.  (Minimum 4 years required without bachelor’s degree).
  • Minimum of two years of experience applying compensation and job evaluation theories, applicable wage/hour regulations and salary survey methodologies.
  • Advanced Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables.

 

Skills:  

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and large volumes of data
  • Strong business acumen and basic understanding of business financial principles including P&L’s budgets, payroll, financial reporting and expense control
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify trends and root issues and to recommend solutions that support the company’s business objectives.
