YOUR ROLE
For our location in Zaandam, we are looking for an experienced and driven Warehouse Supervisor! In this role, you will lead and organize your warehouse team for both inbound and outbound operations. Together, you’ll ensure the logistics process runs like a well-oiled machine, consistently achieving weekly and monthly KPIs. You proactively identify and implement improvements within the logistics process, working closely with your colleagues according to the LEAN philosophy. Concepts like Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma are second nature to you, and you use them to further optimize operations. Additionally, you elevate team performance and ensure a safe and motivating work environment.

You will report to the Operations Manager and lead a team of 5 to 10 employees (both permanent and flexible). The team culture is best described as informal, driven, and professional. Together, you make sure our customer—active in the tech sector—is satisfied! You will work a flexible day shift between 08:00 and 17:00.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will:

• Monitor both the quantitative and qualitative progress of logistics operations toward the customer;
• Lead, coach, and develop your team to the next level;
• Determine capacity and staffing needs based on forecasting and KPIs;
• Analyze team results and investigate and resolve deviations;
• Identify and proactively address process improvement opportunities within the LEAN philosophy;
• Ensure your team works in a clean, safe environment—motivated and with a smile.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently. You’re socially engaged and know how to motivate and inspire your team to achieve results. With your coaching approach, your team continues to grow and enjoy their work. Quality is a top priority for you, and you fully understand the customer’s needs. You thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure logistics environment and can keep your cool under stress.

You also bring the following knowledge and skills:

• MBO working and thinking level;
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in logistics (preferably in contract logistics);
• Strong social and communication skills;
• Experience with process improvements (within LEAN philosophy);
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Providing a Certificate of No Objection (VGB) is required; the application costs will be covered by CEVA.

• A market-based salary between €2,593 and €3,400, depending on your experience and education;
• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
